Haynesworth rips 'conniving' Shanahan

As far as radio feuds go, this one's a dandy. Chris Cooley smokes out Albert Haynesworth, and Haynesworth then unloads on Cooley, and not content with that, Haynesworth unleashes on his former franchise and former coach. ... "I mean, it's like, you can't win with that team," Haynesworth said. "And you think it was just me? I mean, look how he did Donovan. See what's going on with RGIII. I met RGIII. He seemed like an extremely nice guy that's willing to work. Now he's gonna learn -- I mean, I hate to say he's gonna learn -- about [Mike Shanahan], how he's conniving and everything like that, where he's not gonna help him out, it's all about him." The host then pointed out that Shanahan has two Super Bowls to his credit. "He hasn't won a playoff game since Elway retired," Haynesworth interrupted, which is not exactly right but close. The Cavs will play dirty

Part II of the Mike Brown Era opened in fine fashion against the new-look Nets on Wednesday, to the tune of a 98-94 win. [New Jersey plays] in Brooklyn and they're expected to contend for something cool. So the Nets are bound to be shoved in our face all season. But the Cavs were the story on this night, with Bynum returning to the court for the first time since 2011-12, and the Cavs displaying grit, guts and an ability to make some big plays despite fielding what's still a fairly young team. Oh, it wasn't pretty. As Brown said, "It was ugly, which I'm OK with." He once used the word "grimy" to describe the evening, as if he needed a shower after watching it. Then again, this is Brown we're talking about. The nastier the better. (FOX Sports Ohio) Comment

According to Ben Verlander, the "only other one like it on the East Coast is (owned by) some guy named Michael Jordan."
