MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin forwards Alando Tucker and Jason Chappell have been cleared to practice after recovering from foot injuries.
But coach Bo Ryan said Monday at his weekly news conference there is no timetable for the two to see action in any games. A decision on that will be made after both are observed during practice.
Tucker was a pleasant surprise at power forward last season despite being just 6-foot-5 and 195 pounds. But he made up for his size with a 38-inch vertical leap and led all Big Ten freshman in rebounding with almost six a game. He broke his foot and has been out for the last eight weeks.
Chappell also missed the past six weeks with a broke foot. He saw limited action last year.
The Badgers dropped to No. 23 in the latest Associated Press poll after losing last week for the first time. They host UW-Green Bay, UW-Milwaukee and Marquette over the next two weeks.
