Paige Railey, Clearwater, Fla.
Sailing
Paige, a junior at Clearwater High, won the girls' single-handed event at the 33rd International Sailing Federation Youth Sailing world championship held near Madeira, Portugal. She is the third person representing the United States to win the title.
Travis Toyama, Kaneohe, Hawaii
Golf
Travis, a senior at Educational Laboratories School, shot a seven-under-par 277 to win the boys' division of the National Independent Insurance Agents Junior Classic in Columbus, N.J. His 10-stroke victory broke a record coheld by Tiger Woods.
Lauryn Williams, Rochester, Pa.
Track and Field
Williams, a junior sprinter at the University of Miami, won gold medals in the 100 meters and the 4¥100 relay at the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She was named to the Team USA roster for the world championships.
Matt Robinson, Richmond, Calif.
Bowling
Matt, a senior at El Cerrito High, averaged 261 over six games and rolled a 300 game while winning the Northern California Junior Bowlers Tour title in Brentwood. He also won the title at Fremont, the next stop on the tour, with a high game of 279.
Stacy Delaney, Freeland, Mich.
Softball
Stacy, a junior fast-pitch righthander at Freeland High, threw back-to-back no-hitters to lead the Falcons to the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 3 state championship. She was 27-1 for the season, with 12 no-hitters and 19 shutouts.
George Bovell, Trinidad and Tobago
Swimming
Bovell, a sophomore at Auburn University, swam a meet-record 1:59.49 to win a gold medal in the 200-meter individual medley at the Pan American Games. He also won a gold in the 200 freestyle and took silver medals in the 100 back and the 100 free.
Katelyn Bouyssou, Hope, R.I.
Judo
Katelyn, a fourth-grader at Hope Elementary who competes for Mayo Quanchi Judo Club of West Warwick, R.I., earned her third national title of 2003: the intermediate 57-pound girls' division at the U.S. Judo Federation's junior nationals. Her record is 391-6.
