DENVER (AP) -- Could Dennis Rodman join the Denver Nuggets?

That's the question after the former NBA rebounding champion worked out briefly at the Pepsi Center in Denver.

He played one game of full-court pickup basketball at the Nuggets' practice gym before leaving, saying he needed to have an ingrown toenail removed.

He scored a basket and got two rebounds in the game.

Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe says he gave Rodman the chance to work out after Rodman's agent, Darren Prince, made an inquiry. Prince had been trying to get the workout with Denver for more than a year.

Vandeweghe says Rodman's thinking about playing again.

Rodman is 43 and hasn't played in the NBA since the 1999-2000 season.
