LOS ANGELES (Ticker) - Dijon Thompson, UCLA's leading scorer this season, will make himself available for the NBA draft.

Thompson, however, will not hire an agent, which leaves open the possibility of returning to UCLA for his senior season.

The 6-7 swingman started 27 of 28 games for UCLA this season, including all 18 Pac-10 Conference contests, and averaged 14.4 points. He plans to participate in the pre-draft camp, held in Chicago in early June.

"I believe I owe it to myself, entering my senior year, to experience the Chicago camp and see where I stand among the potential draftees," said Thompson, who scored a season-high 25 points against Oregon State on March 4.

Thompson has until June 17 to withdraw from draft consideration.
