While all the rankings and lists are nice, it's also very helpful to see a draft in action when trying to decide who take when your time comes to draft. SI.com got together 12 experts on July 13 for a mock draft that should give you a little guidance as to who the top players are, as well as some surprise picks who could pay dividends later in the year.

(Since this draft took place, there were a number of big moves -- Ricky Williams' sudden retirement, Eddie George signing with the Cowboys, Antowain Smith joining the Titans, and major injuries to David Boston, Anquan Boldin and Marcel Shipp -- that would've altered the look of this draft. Please keep that in mind when looking over this draft and the analysis from the drafters.)

We used the "traditional" scoring system from SI.com's Fantasy Football game:

-- Passing: 4 points for every TD; 1 point for every 25 yards; 1 point for 2-point conversion pass

-- Rushing/Receiving: 6 points for every TD; 1 point for every 10 yards rushing or receiving; 2 points for 2-point conversion scored

-- Kicking: 1 point for every extra point; 3 points for every field goal

-- Defense/Special Teams: 6 points for every TD; 2 points for every interception, fumble recovery or blocked kick; 1 point for every sack
