Molik wins women's singles tennis bronze

ATHENS, Greece (AP) -- Unseeded Alicia Molik of Australia upset No. 3 Anastasia Myskina of Russia 6-3, 6-4 on Saturday to win the Olympic women's singles tennis bronze medal.

Molik broke to 5-4 in the second set, then served it out for Australia's first singles tennis medal. The country won medals five times previously in doubles.

Top-ranked Justine Henin-Hardenne of Belgium faces No. 2 Amelie Mauresmo of France on Sunday for the gold medal.
