Pluses: Generous amount of parking (21,000-plus spaces) at a relatively wallet-friendly $10 a car; frequent subway service is also available to the park.
Minuses: Extra parking fees applied for larger vehicles at stadium lots; as in most northeastern cities, navigating through traffic is an invitation to frustration.
Even new digs isn't enough to warm the hearts of the famously coarse Philadelphia fans. Of course, not winning the division in 12 years might also play a part.

Plenty of options for the kids should they get bored, including a climbing wall and a water slide; a bounty of restroom facilities (24 men's, 24 women's, 13 family); more than 300 concession stands and vendors; ample seating (700) for wheelchair-bound fans.
Phillies fans are ruthless, and if you bring your children be ready to cover their ears frequently. Still, this 2-year-old stadium is a palace and is well worth the trip. Watch replays and highlights on the high definition Jumbo Tron and follow your favorites on the best out-of-town scoreboard in the majors (in addition to the score, it shows the number of outs and a diamond showing where runners are on base). Don't bother with the regular concession stands; the place to eat is Ashburn Alley, which runs behind centerfield. There are plenty of choices for good food, including Pat's cheesesteaks and Bull's BBQ run by former Phillie Greg Luzinski. -- B.J. Schecter
There isn't too much going on around the park, which is also true for the dining/drinking options. You can always go to McFadden's (attached to the ballpark) for a beer before and after the game -- B.J. Schecter
2005 Record: 70-61 (all statistics through Aug. 29) Players worth price of admission: Bobby Abreu (.293 BA, 22 HR, 82 RBI, 25 SB), Chase Utley (.295 BA, 19 HR, 78 RBI), Billy Wagner (30 SVS, 1.65 ERA).
It wouldn't have taken much to improve upon the dismal Vet, but the Phillies have created a place so nice that you almost forget that you are in a stadium wasteland, surrounded by four other sports facilities. There are even places to escape with the kids when the Phillies draw the inevitable foul-mouthed ire of their perpetually disappointed fans. See, there is more to do in Philly than the art museum and the Liberty Bell.
