The Master 50 list takes into consideration players who are performing well, which ones have health issues, and those who have potential for greater success. Both short-term gains and long-term outlooks are assessed.

1. Lebron James, SF, Cle: No longer a man-child, 'Bron is now simply THE MAN. There are bound to be more triple-doubles yet to come.

2. Kevin Garnett, F, Min: The Big Ticket is the best one-way fare to the fantasy playoffs.

3. Tim Duncan, FC, SA: Duncan is averaging three assists a game and shooting over 80 percent from the line, all while maintaining his expected production in points, rebounds and blocks. He'll leapfrog KG soon if this keeps up.

4. Shawn Marion, F, Pho: 1.8 is the number of the Matrix right now (averaging 1.8 steals, 1.8 blocks, and has a 1.8 assist-to-turnover ratio). Outstanding play.

5. Dirk Nowitzki, PF, Dal: Qualifying for eye-popping stat of the week, Dirk is shooting better from 3-point land than from the field overall (48.9 vs. 47.9 percent as of Nov. 24)

6. Allen Iverson, PG, Phi: AI is easily the toughest player in the league, as lesser players would not have even stepped on the court yet with his injury. The Answer is a good bet to lead the league in scoring again.

7. Paul Pierce, GF, Bos: 26 points, 8 rebounds and more than four assists a game with good percentages looks eerily like the stat line of top-ranked Lebron James.

8. Marcus Camby, C, Den: Legitimately, Camby is one of the top fantasy options right now. Sell very high and trade him to the guppy owner in your league.

9. Gilbert Arenas, PG, Was: Arenas is quickly making the climb up from an all-star to elite fantasy player status.

10. Jermaine O'Neal, FC, Ind: Some fret at his field goal percentage, but 46-plus percent is acceptable.

11. Elton Brand, PF, LAC: Sigh. If only he was still center-eligible. 24 and 10 is money at any position.

12. Dwyane Wade, G, Mia: In the future, he will have that outside shot, but in the meantime, his lack of 3-pointers decreases his value in rotisserie leagues.

13. Kobe Bryant, SG, LAL: Kobe is still not making many 3-pointers, which automatically sinks him below the top half-dozen fantasy options.

14. Richard Jefferson, SF, NJ: RJ is taking away assist opportunities from Jason Kidd by averaging more than four a game himself.

15. Ray Allen, SG, Sea: Allen is playing well, and is only one small step behind the top guard options out there.

16. Antawn Jamison, F, Was: 21 and 10 every night, and he is hitting his long-range shot this year.

17. Steve Nash, PG, Pho: The field-goal percentage is still down, but you cannot find 17 points coupled with 11 dimes anywhere else in the league.

18. Ron Artest, SF, Ind: Artest is rewarding anyone who took the gamble on him. The free throw percentage still needs to get better (64.6 percent as of Nov. 24)

19. Ricky Davis, GF, Bos: The breakthrough player of the year to this point. His 21 points, five rebounds and six assists a game matches up very well against Dwyane Wade, and Ricky hits the 3 too.

20. Chris Paul, G, NOK: Paul's mom will be changing his name to "ROY" soon. The 5.5 rebounds and 2.1 steals a game so far already make him an elite fantasy player.
