Scout.com's rankings of the nation's top prospects

The Scout.com recruiting team has released its final National Hot 100 list, with running back Chris Wells (Akron, Ohio) remaining the top overall prospect. Wells, a 6-foot-1 1/2, 225-pound back who has already committed to Ohio State, earned the No. 1 spot over superstar prospects like offensive linemen Andre Smith (Birmingham, Ala.) and Sam Young (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (Oklahoma City) and wideout Vidal Hazelton (Chatham, Va.). These four recruits round out Scout.com's top five.
