AFTER 2 A.M.: Not much is open after 2 a.m. (not even Store 24), but Pinnochio's Pizza usually stretches the clock for students. It features very cheap Sicilian slices and is very popular late-night. Noch's, as it's called by Harvard students, is covered with athletic memorabilia and conveniently located near the Finals Clubs, so people pour in after parties.

DOSES OF CULTURE: The birthplace of the American revolution has a lot to offer in terms of culture as does the academic cache of Harvard. The school hosts conferences and speakers throughout the year. But if you want true Boston culture head over to Fenway Park to see the 2004 World Champion Boston Red Sox.

CHRISTMAS BLUES: Harvard students have first semester finals after a two-week Christmas Break, so instead of going home and relaxing during the holidays, Harvard students are plagued by nightmares of research papers and exams.

EARLY TO BED: Whether it's the Puritan history bar hopping, everything closes early in Cambridge.

PARTY WITH THE ATHLETES: The Kong formally known as the Hong Kong Restaurant and Lounge.  Downstairs you can indulge in potstickers, but the second and third floor are reserved for flirting, dancing and drinking. According to one Harvard student, "If you are a member of a team or with the team, you're in, just like that.

ONLY AT HARVARD: The Hasty Pudding Theatricals. Interested in watching a student-written and -produced musical farce starring men in drag? Well, then the Hasty Pudding Theatrical is for you. For 158 years Harvard men have been pulling up their pantyhose just to entertain.

FINAL-ly: Like Princeton, Harvard wouldn't dare have fraternities as the center of its social scene. Harvard's eight Finals Clubs help share the social burden. If you get past all the pretension (members are males only), Finals Clubs are a lot of fun. While the clubs' names are a little much (examples: the Spee, the Fly, the Phoenix), the clubs own ridiculously sweet mansions in Cambridge that are perfect party destinations.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: The Game, of course. Even outsiders find this showdown on the last Saturday before Thanksgiving similar to an actual college football tailgate. With all the alumns in town there is not only a party atmosphere, but also the opportunity to mooch off their awesome tailgate food. Even the most studious show their faces at this event.
