Bigger isn't better (cont.)Posted: Thursday April 28, 2005 4:03PM; Updated: Thursday April 28, 2005 4:04PM Hot SauceWhat's making news in and around college campuses this week. Dancing Machine -- If you didn't already love the Air Force Academy, this video should make you an instant fan. For The Record -- Despite being seen with his arm around Alyssa Milano at Avalon, a club in Hollywood, in February, USC quarterback Matt Leinart tells some hack at SIOC that they are just friends. So who is the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback dating these days? That honor would go to the lovely Brynn Cameron. Speaking of USC, how about third-string quarterback Matt Cassel -- who threw a total of 33 passes in four years -- getting drafted by the New England Patriots last weekend while former Heisman winner Jason White and NCAA Division I career passing leader Timmy Chang went undrafted? Show Me The Money -- How not to impress possible future employers after finishing up law school. Shocker -- First, Notre Dame graduate John Walters writes a column about the "shocker" in Sports Illustrated On Campus; now some Notre Dame students might have to sit out graduation after fooling outgoing president Edward "Monk" Molloy into make the hand sign for a group picture and posting it online. Van Wilder -- "Hey Johnny, what's up bro? I haven't talked to you in like 11 years. The last I heard you were heading to college, what are you been up to these days?" "Oh, you know, same old, same old." The Nature Boy -- It may be poor sportsmanship, but you have to love the kid who tried to upstage Ric Flair's son after beating him by doing Flair's signature strut walk afterwards. Hey, Reid, like your dad always said, "To be the man, you have to beat the man. Whooo!" On a Streak -- Not sure what's more surprising, that Hamilton College has a varsity streaking team or that the team is "mostly male." Another Munoz Retiring -- First it was Michael. Now it's Michelle. Its times like these that make me wish Frankie Muniz's last name were Munoz. Cruise Control -- I knew there was a reason I didn't like Tom Cruise. Oh well, at least Carmen Electra is available, if I'm willing to pay the right price. Finally -- This should be a lesson to all you kids out there who think old guys can't still throw down.
