1. Are you a college student who would like to play a varsity sport but has more enthusiasm than talent? Then perhaps streaking is for you. It seems that Hamilton College in upstate New York has so far dominated competitive streaking after compiling a 12-0 record last season, all on the road. Whichever side fields the most streakers wins, so yes, size does matter.

2. SI.com's Gary Van Sickle is reporting rumors that TaylorMade may market a line of Trump golf clubs. As an added bonus, the woods come with head covers made from the same plush material as The Donald's hair.

3. Dodgers pitcher Derek Lowe hurled a one-hitter on Wednesday against the Cubs. The only hit came when Lowe's wife slugged him for looking too eager for the postgame TV interviews.

4. A fan has won a sweepstakes to act as the Rangers' "co-owner" on Sept. 16 at Arlington's Ameriquest Field. After throwing out the first pitch, the fan will have the honor of signaling opponents' pitches to Texas batters from center field.

5. 76ers forward Chris Webber was ordered to pay a $100,000 fine on Wednesday to finally resolve a guilty plea that he made nearly two years ago to a federal charge of criminal contempt. Webber postponed this reckoning several times but eventually ran out of timeouts.

6. The NBA fined the Timberwolves $200,000 for allegedly holding a two-day mini-camp in Las Vegas during the offseason, when teams are prohibited from having practices or functions. The T-Wolves mistakenly thought that what happens in Vegas really stays in Vegas.

7. An Olympic gold medalist shooter from Dubai, who is also a member of the Dubai royal family, is upset at a Bollywood film character that he believes brands him as a mafia assassin. In the Indian movie Sarkar (Government), an underworld gang hires an assassin who is portrayed as a Dubai man who's such a great shot that he won Olympic gold. That hasn't gone over well with Sheikh Ahmed al-Maktoum, who is not only the lone shooter from Dubai who has ever won gold but also the only Olympic medalist in the history of the United Arab Emirates. The Sheikh considers the character a direct insult, though the filmmakers have apologized to al-Maktoum and call the situation "pure coincidence." Still, it's probably not wise to insult a Middle Eastern sheikh, especially one so skilled with firearms.

8. A slumping Rafael Palmeiro wore earplugs during Tuesday's game in Toronto to help drown out the boos. Palmeiro also tried to stick his head in the sand but was stymied by the Rogers Centre's artificial turf.

9. The ratings for the Canadian Broadcasting Company's telecasts of CFL games have been rising this season despite having no announcers due to a labor lockout. The surprising development has NHL owners wondering why they ever let the players back at all.

10. Chinese center Yao Ming has reportedly signed a five-year contract extension with the Rockets worth more than $75 million. That makes Yao the highest-paid proletariat in the world.
