Create a disparity from the NBA and other leagues by raisng the rim to 10 feet, three inches. The rim is too low for today's NBA players. I'm certain Naismith never expected players to be able to reach over 12 feet high. Also widen the court two feet on each side because today's players are considerably bigger and taller since the game's inception. These changes may cause younger players to reconsider one's early jump to the NBA. -- Montezj, Cincinnati
I'd like the NBA to adopt the college free throw rules, i.e. you have to earn your second free throw up to a certain number of fouls. It'll limit the number of Shaq, Ben Wallace, etc., clanks we have to see. -- Bill Perry, Cary, N.C.
If a player flops, he should be called for a technical foul. This way if a player gets called for more than two flops, oops, there's two technical fouls ... He's OUT! I think this would deter some floppers. They might do it once, but after that first technical, they may think twice on flopping ... at least til the next game. -- Travis, Aurora, Colo.
I would continue to try and push the minimum draft eligible age to 20. Of course the owners won't like it but your hurting the college game by having it at 19. -- Jeff, Saskatoon, Canada
I would start an NBA Europe and get a Champions League competition going between the continents much like soccer enjoys. -- Andrew Rosti, Baltimore
Put an end to playing music while the game is actually going on. I realize the NBA is in the business of entertainment, but as a fan I don't need to be bombarded with non stop in your face distractions the entire time I am at a home game. Stop the annoying music and let us enjoy the "game." -- Steve Rigato, Toronto
Start calling palming and traveling. Some players have forgotten that you are actually supposed to dribble and only get to take two steps after picking up your dribble. -- Matt, Minneapolis
Change how seedings for the playoffs are set. Reward the teams with the best records by letting the top four records in each conference, in order of finish, choose their first-round opponent from the four lower records. Division winners just get bonus money, not a guaranteed higher seed. -- Tony C., San Antonio
Get rid of defensive three-second violations. That call, like several others, exists only in the NBA. So what if a team plays zone, other than the talking heads and non basketball players, who cares. If you're a "pro" ball player, you should be able to play against a zone, right? Gee, my 10-and-under teams can do it! -- Richard, Bristow, Va.
It's impossible for fans to get All-Star Game tickets. I'd make them more accessible. -- Lannard, Birmingham, Ala.
