More State Champs
Who were the State Champs elsewhere in the U.S.? Pick another state from the menu:

Mark Gottfried made sure Ronald Steele, a Birmingham star whose mother was a 'Bama grad, didn't get away -- a smart move, since Steele has turned into the nation's best point guard after just one season in Tuscaloosa. The Tide also landed Richard Hendrix, a five-star forward who is blossoming into a tenacious rebounder, and secured the commitment from four-star point guard Rico Pickett, Steele's eventual replacement. He recommitted to 'Bama on signing day after getting cold feet and opening up his recruitment in October.

Outside Player: Indiana

This was a Mike Davis-phenomenon; the former 'Bama player returned to his roots while recruiting for the Hoosiers, landing D.J. White, who could be the state's best future pro, as well as three-star small forward Xavier Keeling, a 2006 prospect who stuck with IU after Davis left. Expect Davis, now the coach at UAB, to make the Blazers a player for in-state recruits.

Dragging In-State: Auburn

The Tigers have landed just one four-star prospect, Joey Cameron, during the past four classes, and seem destined to stay behind Alabama and UAB in this race.
