Who were the State Champs elsewhere in the U.S.? Pick another state from the menu:

The Rebels won this title by landing Marcus Lawrence, a 5-foot-11 point guard from Bishop Gorman High in Las Vegas. Lawrence was rated the No. 3 point guard in the west by scout.com and the No. 24 overall point guard. He also has the distinction of being the only four-star prospect to come out of a Nevada high school during this stretch. Las Vegas hasn't been entirely devoid of prospects, but residents such as Lorrenzo Wade (Louisville, and now San Diego State) and Harvey Perry (Washington) have made jumps to prep schools before landing in college.

Outside Player: San Diego St.

San Diego State was in the running for Lawrence and lost, but returned to Nevada to sign arguably the state's best prospect in the class of 2007, small forward Billy White from Henderson's Green Valley High.

Dragging In-State: ???

It's a thin list -- and a weak state -- with just one four-star prospect during the four-year stretch. You can't blame UNLV and Nevada for only taking one player each.
