Are we missing anyone here? Unless there was a glaring omission -- like, say, the second coming of Taylor Coppenrath hiding out at a school in the Southland Conference -- New Hampshire wins the title. In its latest class, UNH signed 6-foot-2 guard Tyrone Conley, the only Vermonter with a star rating in scout.com's database from 2004-07. Conley averaged 18 points and 10.5 rebounds for Burlington High as a junior, and told the Burlington Free Press that UNH had told him he "could play right away."
Outside Player: None
Dragging In-State: Vermont
Vermont, maybe, for letting Conley sneak away. The Catamounts do have Kyle Cieplicki, the 2003 state player of the year, in their starting lineup, and Chad Powlovich is a role player who comes off the bench. The state is mostly devoid of D-I talent, though, so UVM needs to look elsewhere to compete in the America East.
