Just as players move up draft boards based on their performance during college bowl games, the risk of sliding also exists. NFL scouts have a list of several prospects that presently sit on the fence. These are players who have as much to lose as they have to gain in the postseason.

Mario Henderson/OT/Florida State: Considered a prospect with a great amount of natural ability, Henderson's play this season has been inconsistent. He has been beaten badly at times by speedy pass rushers. In the Emerald Bowl he faces UCLA sack-master Justin Hickman, the PAC 10's top pass rusher and a player with the skills to give Henderson nightmares.

D'Juan Woods/WR/Oklahoma State: Stamped with a middle-round grade coming into the season, Woods suffered through a tough senior campaign. After dropping passes with regularity early in the season, he displayed signs of life late in the year. Yet NFL scouts are not completely sold on Woods and feel he has underachieved. Another poor outing against a tough Alabama defense in the Independence Bowl could sink him.

Quentin Moses/DE/Georgia: Rated as the top senior prospect in the nation last September by several NFL scouting services, Moses is watching his draft stock plummet. Most scouts feel Moses has skated through the season; he has been diagnosed by many as having a severe case of "senioritis." Facing a below-average Virginia Tech offensive line in the Chick-fil-A Bowl, Moses needs a huge outing or this potential top 10 pick could find himself in the second half of Round 1.

Greg Olson/TE/Miami (Fla.): The belief in Coral Gables is that Olson will forgo his final year of college eligibility. Most scouts, though, feel that would be a mistake as Olson has shown much more potential than production at this point. Against Nevada in the MPC Computers Bowl, Olson will face a solid Wolfpack pass defense. He must quickly elevate his game or he will likely slip out of the draft's initial 75 picks.
