SEATTLE VS. PITTSBURGH
Don Banks
The deeper we get into Super Bowl week, the more I'm starting to like Seattle's upset chances. It won't be the 10-point Steelers win I originally foresaw, but Pittsburgh's Ben Roethlisberger doesn't do anything but win.

Seattle is good, but they're facing a team on a roll. The Steelers have
beaten the top three AFC seeds on the road and in impressive fashion.
They should be able to handle the Seahawks in a neutral stadium. Pittsburgh 27, Seattle 21

Against any other opponent, the Seahawks -- one of the NFL's most well-rounded teams -- would win their first Super Bowl in the franchise's 30-year history. Instead, the Seahawks will earn respect by keeping the game close most of the way as Pittsburgh cements Cowher's place in Canton while providing the Bus with a storybook ending. Pittsburgh 30, Seattle 20

The more I think about the Seahawks, the more I like them. Mature,
unafraid, a chip on their shoulder. But the Steelers are playing too
well, and they've had the best run of a team in recent playoff history.
In the Super Bowl, the hottest team stays hot. Pittsburgh 24, Seattle 20

If the Steelers continue their space-age offensive play of the previous two games, they won't be beaten. But I'm betting they'll level off a bit. Seattle, with a great offensive line and a smart and scarily accurate passer in Matt Hasselbeck, can score on anyone. This one should go back and forth and come down to the final minutes. And for the record -- I respect both teams very much, thank you. Seattle 30, Pittsburgh 28

I don't have strong feelings either way. Just hunches. Seattle's offense is smooth and effective. But I like the raw emotion generated by the Steelers on both sides of the ball.
