DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) (12-0) -- Season Over
Last Game:
Defeated Good Counsel, 20-14, in overtime of the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference championship.
Notes:
Senior quarterback Chester Stewart found junior wide receiver Rodney McLeod on a 25-yard game-winning touchdown pass in overtime to lift the Stags to their fourth consecutive WCAC title, the last three of which have come at the expense of Good Counsel.

Gaffney (Gaffney, S.C.) (14-0)
Last Game:
Defeated Stratford, 26-17, in the Class 4A Division I state semifinals.
Notes:
The Indians scored three rushing touchdowns and senior quarterback Malcolm Long completed 12 of 16 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown. Gaffney will look to defend its state crown when it plays Irmo in the final.

Hilliard Davidson (Hillard, Ohio) (14-0)
Last Game:
Defeated then-No.11 Colerain, 10-6, in the Division I state semifinals.
Notes:
Hilliard Davidson continued its unbeaten season by upsetting Colerain. Senior running back Bo Delande scored on a 4-yard touchdown run, while junior quarterback Connor Dietz ran for 62 yards. The Wildcats will play Mentor in the state championship.

Maryville (Maryville, Tenn.) (14-0)
Last Game:
Defeated Morristown West, 44-19, in the Class 4A state semifinals.
Notes:
Maryville's defense forced four turnovers in the first half and senior running back Adrian Baker ran for two scores. The Rebels will be playing for their sixth state title in the last seven years when they take on Hillsboro.

Jesuit (Portland, Ore.) (11-0)
Last Game:
Defeated Sheldon, 65-7, in the Class 6A state quarterfinals.
Notes:
Sheldon had no answer for senior running back Paul Weatheroy, who ran for 329 yards and five touchdowns on 25 carries.

Mullen (Denver, Colo.) (13-0)
Last Game:
Defeated Douglas County, 41-38, in overtime of the Class 5A state semifinals.
Notes:
Senior Devin Aguilar scored the game-winning touchdown on a 5-yard run in overtime to edge past defending state champion Douglas County. Aguilar caught seven passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 133 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries. The Mustangs will play Columbine for the state title.

Eden Prarie (Eden Prarie, Minn.) (14-0) -- Season Over
Last Game:
Defeated Lakeville South, 21-14, in the Class AAAAA state semifinals.
Notes:
Eden Prairie earned its fifth state title in 11 years by defeating Lakeville South. Senior Zack Armstrong provided the winning points with a 2-yard run. Junior quarterback Ryan Grant completed 12 of 16 passes for 168 yards and a touchdown, while junior running back Matt Swanson ran for 65 yards and a touchdown.

Warrenville South (Wheaton, Ill.) (14-0)
Last Game:
Defeated Mount Carmel, 44-21, in the Class 8A state championship.
Notes:
The Tigers used plenty of big plays en route to capturing the state crown. Senior running back and Purdue recruit Dan Dierking ran for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries. Dierking finished the season with 2,330 rushing yards and 34 touchdowns. Senior running back Jim O'Brien had a 65-yard touchdown run and a 96-yard kickoff return for a score, while senior quarterback Mike Highland passed for 151 yards and two touchdowns. It was Warrenville South's fifth state championship.

Muskegon (Muskegon, Mich.) (14-0)
Last Game:
Defeated De La Salle, 32-30, in the Division 2 state championship.
Notes:
Muskegon was able to win its second state title in the past three years and 16th overall thanks to a big defensive play at the end of the game. Senior defensive back Ronald Johnson hit De La Salle senior receiver Don Fowler at the 4-yard line and Fowler fumbled into the end zone as he was stretching for what would have been the game-winning score. Muskegon junior defensive back Bobby Miller recovered the fumble in the end zone to give the Big Reds the ball with 1:03 remaining and they ran the clock out to clinch the title. Muskegon junior quarterback Chris Crawford was the offensive star of the game as he ran for 232 yards and two touchdowns and completed 5 of 7 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown.

Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, Pa.) (13-0)
Last Game:
Defeated Penn Hills, 18-12, in the WPIAL AAAA final.
Notes:
Senior Dane Conwell scored on a 10-yard run with 58 seconds left to lift Upper St. Clair to the win. Upper St. Clair will play Erie Cathedral Prep in the Class AAAA state quarterfinals.

Katy (Katy, Texas) (12-0)
Last Game:
Defeated Houston Memorial, 38-0, in the Class 5A Division II area round.
Notes:
Junior running back Aundre Dean ran for 176 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries as Katy rolled up 443 total yards on offense.

Jenks (Jenks, Okla.) (12-1)
Last Game:
Defeated Muskogee, 52-35, in the Class 6A state semifinals.
Notes:
Junior quarterback Mark Ginther passed for 183 yards and three touchdowns and junior running back Chris Adkins ran for 202 yards and two scores on 41 carries as the Trojans advanced to the state final, where they will face Enid.

Trinity (Euless, Texas) (11-1)
Last Game:
Lost to No. 5 Southlake Carroll, 22-21, in the Class 5A Division I area round.
Notes:
Trinity had its 17-game winning streak snapped when it barely lost to nationally ranked Southlake Carroll in the area round. Trinity senior running back Justise Campbell ran for 202 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries. Despite the loss, the Trojans don't drop from the rankings because they lost by one point to a top five team in the nation.
