Hilliard Davidson (Hillard, Ohio) (15-0) -- Season Over
Last Game:
Defeated Mentor, 36-35, in double overtime of the Division I state championship.
Notes:
Hilliard Davidson edged Mentor in the first overtime championship game in Division I. The Wildcats were led by workhorse senior running back Bo Delande, who ran for 236 yards and five touchdowns on 47 carries and scored the game-winning two-point conversion.

Prattville (Prattville, Ala.) (15-0) -- Season over
Last Game:
Defeated then-No. 11 Hoover, 35-21, in the Class 6A state championship.
Notes:
People may ask why a new team debuts this high in the rankings, but Prattville earned this spot in the National Top 25 with its convincing victory over a Hoover team that was the four-time defending state champion and was going for its sixth state title in the last seven years. It was Prattville's first state title since 1984. Prattville junior running back Justin Albert ran for 146 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries. Meanwhile, senior quarterback Larry Smith was named game MVP after completing 11 of 14 passes for 96 yards and a touchdown and rushing for 78 yards.

Maryville (Maryville, Tenn.) (15-0) -- Season Over
Last Game:
Defeated Hillsboro, 35-10, in the Class 4A state championship.
Notes:
Maryville won its sixth state title in the last seven years by defeating Hillsboro. The Rebels have also won 98 out of their last 100 games. Senior wide receiver Tyler Maples was immense in the win over Hillsboro. The Tennessee recruit was named offensive MVP after catching six passes for 130 yards and three touchdowns.

Jesuit (Portland, Ore.) (13-0) -- Season over
Last Game:
Defeated Southridge, 56-7, in the Class 6A state championship.
Notes:
The Crusaders capped their dominating season by cruising past Southridge for their second consecutive state title. Senior running back Paul Weatheroy ran for 292 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries. In four playoff games, Weatheroy ran for 1,045 yards and set state postseason records for a running back for touchdowns (19) and points scored (116). Meanwhile, senior quarterback Dan Wagner completed 8 of 12 passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns. championship.

Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, Minn.) (14-0) -- Season Over
Last Game:
Defeated Lakeville South, 21-14, in the Class AAAAA state semifinals.
Notes:
Eden Prairie earned its fifth state title in 11 years by defeating Lakeville South. Senior Zack Armstrong provided the winning points with a 2-yard run. Junior quarterback Ryan Grant completed 12 of 16 passes for 168 yards and a touchdown, while junior running back Matt Swanson ran for 65 yards and a touchdown.

Warrenville South (Wheaton, Ill.) (14-0) -- Season Over
Last Game:
Defeated Mount Carmel, 44-21, in the Class 8A state championship.
Notes:
The Tigers used plenty of big plays en route to capturing the state crown. Senior running back and Purdue recruit Dan Dierking ran for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries. Dierking finished the season with 2,330 rushing yards and 34 touchdowns. Senior running back Jim O'Brien had a 65-yard touchdown run and a 96-yard kickoff return for a score, while senior quarterback Mike Highland passed for 151 yards and two touchdowns. It was Warrenville South's fifth state championship.

Muskegon (Muskegon, Mich.) (14-0) -- Season Over
Last Game:
Defeated De La Salle, 32-30, in the Division 2 state championship.
Notes:
Muskegon was able to win its second state title in the past three years and 16th overall thanks to a big defensive play at the end of the game. Senior defensive back Ronald Johnson hit De La Salle senior receiver Don Fowler at the 4-yard line and Fowler fumbled into the end zone as he was stretching for what would have been the game-winning score. Muskegon junior defensive back Bobby Miller recovered the fumble in the end zone to give the Big Reds the ball with 1:03 remaining and they ran the clock out to clinch the title. Muskegon junior quarterback Chris Crawford was the offensive star of the game as he ran for 232 yards and two touchdowns and completed 5 of 7 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown.

Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, Pa.) (15-0) -- Season Over
Last Game:
Defeated State College, 28-20, in the Class AAAA state semifinals.
Notes:
Upper St. Clair received plenty of big plays to earn a berth in the state final, where they'll play Liberty on Dec. 16. Senior wide receiver Taylor Everett returned a punt 60 yards for a score to end the first half, senior quarterback Pat McShane ran for two scores and senior running back Dane Conwell rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown.

Jenks (Jenks, Okla.) (13-1) -- Season over
Last Game:
Defeated Enid, 28-7, in the Class 6A state championship.
Notes:
The Trojans upended Enid for their 11th state title. Junior running back Chris Adkins ran for 186 yards and a touchdown, while junior quarterback Mark Ginther completed 12 of 14 passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score. Adkins ran for 695 yards in the Trojans' four playoff games, while Ginther had season totals of 2,140 passing yards, 27 touchdowns and just five interceptions.

Lutheran (Orange, Calif.) (13-1)
Last Game:
Defeated Edison, 30-20, in the Southern Section Pac-5 Division championship.
Notes:
Senior quarterback and USC recruit Aaron Corp passed for two touchdowns and ran for two scores to lead Lutheran to its second section title in three years. The Lancers will play Palo Alto in the Division II game of the inaugural CIF State Football Championship Bowl Games on Dec. 16 at the Home Depot Center in Carson.

Grant (Sacramento, Calif.) (13-0) -- Season over
Last Game:
Defeated Union Mine, 50-0, in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II championship.
Notes:
The Pacers cruised to the section title by blanking Union Mine. The defense intercepted three passes and forced four fumbles, while senior quarterback Tim Lang ran for 146 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries and threw a 41-yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Jevon Stallworth, who's the younger brother of Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Donte Stallworth.

Northside (Warner Robins, Ga.) (14-0)
Last Game:
Defeated St. Pius X, 20-17, in the Class AAAA state semifinals.
Notes:
Junior running back Tijuan Green ran for 183 yards and three touchdowns and junior quarterback Marques Ivory passed for 64 yards. The Eagles will host Marist in the state final on Dec.

Trinity (Euless, Texas) (11-1) -- Season over
Last Game:
Lost to No. 5 Southlake Carroll, 22-21, in the Class 5A Division I area round.
Notes:
Trinity had its 17-game winning streak snapped when it barely lost to nationally ranked Southlake Carroll in the area round. Trinity senior running back Justise Campbell ran for 202 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries. Despite the loss, the Trojans don't drop from the rankings because they lost by one point to a top five team in the nation.
