The Lions have brought back wide receiver Az-Zahir Hakim, signing the free agent to a one-year contract Tuesday. The Lions brought in Hakim for a physical in the off-season, but they didn't sign him because he had a knee problem and they wanted to look at the receivers they already had. The Vikings continued to talk with the agent for Quincy Morgan on Tuesday, and it appears the two sides are closing in on a deal for the veteran receiver and kick returner. Tampa Bay worked out former Saints quarterback Todd Bouman and former Panthers quarterback Stefan LeFors. Cleveland worked out former Buccaneers quarterback Shaun King. Bengals receiver Chris Henry avoided jail time Tuesday with a guilty plea on a concealed weapons charge, but he could face discipline from the NFL. Pittsburgh coach Bill Cowher yesterday listed safety Troy Polamalu as questionable for the game Monday night in Jacksonville because of a shoulder injury. The Broncos worked out five defensive linemen at their complex: tackle Jon Bradley (Arkansas State), tackle Darrell Campbell (Notre Dame), end Willie Evans (Mississippi), tackle Alex Guerrero (Boise State) and tackle Brian Howard (Idaho). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
