On the other side of things, it has been a bit tough balancing football with the rest of the things in my life, especially when it comes to what I eat. It is difficult to maintain this type of workout regimen on a low-calorie diet. But I have started adjusting by drinking protein shakes and eating only those foods that help fuel my body, not just a bunch of sugar or beer. Not to say that I drink very much, but it is hard to attend the No. 1 party school in the nation and not go out one or two nights a week and show the out-of-towners how it's done. The other tough thing is showing up to photo shoots with bruises all over my body. I have at least three shoots next week in the mountains where I'll have to hope they can edit all of the black and blues out. Oh, and another randomly cool thing: I am the new spokesmodel for the Female Football Network. It is a Web site just for the ladies, so be sure to check it out. On that note, I want to wish all of the other teams out there luck and I hope your training is also going well. (Normally I would insert some taunting remark here, but I'll save it for the field). And P.S. -- If anyone knows where the hot spots are in Denver this week, be sure to let me know! To find out more about the WPFL, go here.
