Football, football, football! All semester, I've done nothing but eat, sleep and breathe football.

As I write this, It's a typical Sunday afternoon, and instead of diligently studying for my exam tomorrow, I find myself flipping back and forth between three NFL games so I can "study" defensive coverages and how they read the ball. I mean, my marketing exam is important, but it will have to wait until the end of this Titans -Redskins game. Man, Titan's safety Lamont Thompson is ballin' right now. Great football. I love it.

After this, it's the Steelers - Chiefs game and then some film for our next big playoff game. That's right, guys, the mighty Wisconsin Wolves have made it to the second round of the Womens Professional Football League playoffs! We beat the Minnesota Vixens and the Empire State Roar and lost to the Dallas Diamonds during this past month, but still had enough wins to make the postseason. Minesota and Dallas had some BIG girls, too. Oh, my goodness! I went to tackle one of the Vixens' running backs in my first series in the game and hit her so square and hard that I literally ricocheted off of her and she landed right on top of me. Ouch. Lower next time ... lower. Dallas also has a lady named Jessica Springer who runs like a sprinter, but is built like a refrigerator. If you tackle her and she lands right on you, it really sucks. I think she burst one of my kidneys. Oh well. Play big, right?

Our first playoff game was on the road against the Indiana Speed and was one of the most intense, heart-stopping games I've ever seen, let alone been a part of. It was like a scene from a big football movie like Remember the Titans, Any Given Sunday or Friday Night Lights where the game is on the line, you see the players run out onto the field and hear the crowd roaring and the pump-you-up music blaring. The players look up into the lights and for a second all you can hear is the pounding of their heart as their breath forms clouds in the cold night air. That's what every single play felt like.

It was a tough game, too. I speak only for myself when I say that it felt like the refs were blackballing the hell out of us, like they were creating new penalties just for our team ... which is why it felt so freakin' awesome when we beat the Speed, 20-18, with a two-point conversion and a huge defensive stop at the end of the fourth quarter. Now we play the Houston Energy in Houston on October 21. If we win, we take the conference title and head to the WPFL Championship game in Georgia on Nov. 4 to play for the title, the rings and the respect. Wouldn't that be a great way to end the season?

Anyway, when I said eat, sleep, and breathe football, I meant it. Even my job right now revolves around it. Every Thursday, I fly to a different city to host a party for Coors Light, who happens to be the official sponsor of the NFL. As you might expect, the parties are all about drinking and football. My job is to get the crowds revved up on the microphone, give away lots of free stuff, play football- type games, take lots of pictures, and take care of our V.I.P.s, who have included: L.C. Greenwood, Jim Plunkett, Doug Wilkerson, etc. All this while talking football and drinking beer all night. Yep, best job ever. So far we've been to Pittsburgh, Miami, Phoenix, Oakland, and San Diego with lots more to come.

Tuesday is the only day of the week when I don't have anything football-related, so that's when I get all of my other stuff done, including modeling. I actually get to be in three calendars this year -- Real Women of Wisconsin, Calendars on Campus (which is all college girls), and another campus one.

Alright, enough chatter, time for more film.
