Lawrence North (Indianapolis, Ind.) (14-0) The Wildcats strutted their stuff before a capacity crowd of 3,200 and a national-television audience with a 78-59 victory over rival North Central. The crowd included Ohio State coach Thad Matta and Illinois coach Bruce Weber, as well as many of Greg Oden's relatives from Buffalo, N.Y., who were wearing hats bearing his name and uniform number. The 7-foot superstar responded with 33 points, 12 rebounds, four blocks and three assists. He made 13-of-18 shots from the floor and 7-of-8 free throws. Senior point guard Mike Conley scored 18 points. The Wildcats, who have a 30-game winning streak, sizzled with 31-of-56 shooting from the field and 15-of-17 from the line, while turning the ball over just nine times in the pressure-filled game. |

Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) (27-0) The Warriors sailed with four easy victories to extend their winning streak to 43 games. Senior guard Tywon Lawson scored 30 points in a 93-76 victory over Greensboro Dudley (N.C.). Six-foot-10 junior Michael Beasley had 30 points and 16 rebounds in a defeat of Blue Ridge Academy, while Lawson added 17 points to go with 14 assists. Lawson had 19 points and eight assists, and Beasley grabbed 15 rebounds in a win over Franklin County. Junior guard Nolan Smith, who recently made a verbal commitment to Duke, had 19 points and five assists in a victory over Southern Maryland Christian Academy. Lawson added 21 points and five assists, while 6-7 senior Jeff Allen had 18 points and 11 rebounds. |

North College Hill (Cincinnati) (15-0) The junior-dominated Trojans draw huge crowds wherever they go, and last week was no exception as they extended their winning streak to 36 with three victories. O.J. Mayo (6-5) thrilled a capacity crowd of 10,560 with 23 points in an 82-70 victory over previously unbeaten Cincinnati Taft. Bill Walker (6-6) scored 22 points, including five thunderous dunks, and 6-3 sophomore guard Courtney Davis added 20 points. The Trojans drew 4,200 at Frankfort, Ky., where they had their toughest game of the year, edging defending-state champion Laurel County 65-57. Laurel County jumped out to a 43-37 lead in the third quarter, while Mayo was on the bench with four fouls. However, Mayo made six straight free throws in the game's final minute to secure the victory. He finished with 18 points. Walker scored all 12 of his points in the second half and grabbed seven rebounds. Keenan Ellis (6-11) had 14 points. Former University of Cincinnati coach Bob Huggins continues to shadow the College Hill team (he saw two games last week) while searching for a college head coaching job. |

DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) (18-0) Chris Braswell, a 6-8 sophomore, scored 25 points in a 74-59 victory over Ireton (Va.). Junior Austin Freeman (6-5) added 15. Freeman also scored 15 points in an 85-53 rout of Good Counsel, while senior guard Nigel Munson dished out 10 assists. The Stags completed a 3-0 week by beating Bishop O'Connell (Va.), 51-35, as Freeman scored 25 points and Munson had six assists. |

Westfield (Spring, Texas) (25-0) Brandon Dison, a 6-3 senior, had 12 points and five steals in a 65-53 victory over Humble. Seniors Josten Crow and Chris Hagan had nine rebounds and six assists, respectively. Dison had 18 points, and 6-3 senior Cleveland Richard, who will attend West Point, grabbed nine rebounds as the Mustangs raced past Spring, 86-42, before a capacity crowd. |

Artesia (Lakewood, Calif.) (19-1) The Pioneers escaped an upset bid by nipping Mayfair 74-71 in overtime as 6-5 sophomore Malik Story banked in a long 3-pointer at the buzzer. James Harden, a 6-5 junior, scored 29 points before fouling out. Harden had 20 points and 11 rebounds in a rout of Cerritos and 14 points in a victory over Taft. Shawntell Norman, a 6-11 senior, grabbed 13 rebounds against Taft. |

McKinley (Canton, Ohio) (11-2) The Bulldogs defeated Lake 79-48, despite injuries and foul problems. Raymar Morgan, a 6-8 senior, dominated with 26 points and 12 rebounds. Five-foot-eight senior Marcus Parker filled the gap with 14 points, five steals and four assists. |

Fairfax (Los Angeles) (14-2) The Lions won three times last week, twice against very strong Southern California foes. They rallied from a 14-point halftime deficit and held rival Los Angeles Westchester scoreless over the final 2:45 en route to a 58-54 victory. Westchester had won nine straight over Fairfax. Junior guard JaShon Hampton led the way with 18 points. Chace Stanback, a 6-8 junior, had 16 points, six rebounds and four assists. Six-foot-five senior Jerren Shipp added 10 points and 10 rebounds. Shipp exploded for a career-high 33 points to go with 11 rebounds in a victory over Palisades. Hampton had 19 points and five steals, while 6-9 senior Matt Shaw had six blocks. Shipp scored 17 points and Stanback added 16 in a 63-51 victory over talented Compton Centennial. |

Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, Tenn.) (20-2) The Eagles' 19-game winning streak ended with a 66-65 upset loss to Whites Creek, despite 29 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks by 6-10 senior Brandan Wright. Senior guard Joshua Bone was held to two points, 14 below his average. Wright scored 16, Bone had 15 points and junior point guard Billy Kottas had five assists in an 83-41 rout of Ensworth. |

Vashon (St. Louis) (16-1) The Wolverines pushed their winning streak to 12 with a pair of victories. Bobby Hill, a 6-6 senior, scored 16 points in a 59-56 victory over East St. Louis (Ill.). Senior guard James Washington added 12 points, and 6-7 junior Leon Powell had 10. Powell scored 13 points and Washington added 12 in a rout of Central Visual Performing Arts. |
