6. White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle has been fined for entertaining fans during a rain delay on Sunday by sliding on the tarp. Well, it's about time baseball got serious about discipline.

7. A San Antonio judge has given the Marlins a deadline of May 15 to decide if the team wants to move to the Texas city. Marlins pitcher Dontrelle Willis says he can be there by Wednesday morning.

8. The Titans reportedly deny that they are forbidding quarterback Steve McNair to work out at the team facility. To show just how much they value McNair's fitness, the team sent Chuck Norris and Christie Brinkley to his home with a snazzy Total Gym.

9. The Nets plan to install waterless urinals in their new Brooklyn arena. The move is required to meet stringent New York City zoning regulations that all NBA teams must be accompanied by a stench.

10. Loyal 10 Spot readers are doubtless wondering which joggler established himself as the world's best in Monday's Boston Marathon. Joggling, as we discussed in last Thursday's edition, is running while juggling. On Monday, Harvard Divinity School student Zach Warren pulled away from Canadian Michal Kapral over the final 10 miles to break his own world record with a sizzling 2:58:23. That beat the previous standard by nearly eight minutes and marks the first sub-three-hour finish in joggling marathon history. (It also beats the 10 Spot's PR by more than 23 minutes, and sadly I wasn't performing any tricks, except remaining upright.) Kapral, who had held the world record before Warren snatched it away last November, also set a personal best on Monday with a 3:06:05. A representative of the International Sport Juggling Federation (of course!) said that the two jogglers appear to have run clean, legal races -- meaning they never took more than two steps without juggling -- but wants to review race video to verify the results. There will be no Rosie Ruiz here, people. Both runners raised donations for children's charities (http://www.unicycle4kids.org/kinesis/template.php and http://www.rememberliane.com/) and plan a rematch in September's Toronto Marathon.
