Our Hero
In the latest issue of Playboy, TV's hottest Hero, Ali Larter, says her man must be a sports fan. She can't even respect a man who doesn't like sports.
"No. I've tried," she said. "I've really tried. I've dated these poetic, dark types, but the truth is, I watched the Eagles, the Phillies and the Flyers growing up with my father. ... I love sports, and it's definitely part of what makes a man sexy to me."
We can just imagine every male sports fan in America pulling a Jim Carrey right about now and saying, "So you're saying there's a chance."

Hunting Ring
Dodgers ace Brad Penny may have a World Series ring, but pitching in the postseason doesn't do it for him quite like hunting down defenseless animals does. "I've won a World Series," Penny tells the Los Angeles Times. "And the adrenaline rush for me ... shooting a deer with a bow is a lot more than that."

Sign That Kid Up
A couple months ago, we saw this SportsCenter My Wish segment with Michelle Kwan and 10-year-old Dani Krause, who had a malignant brain tumor removed three years ago, and couldn't stop wondering what the deal was with Dani's twin brother, Jason. The kid was like a pint-sized version of a talk-show host who loved hearing the sound of his own voice. Apparently the folks in Bristol thought the same thing: They hired the kid as an NFL analyst. Seriously.

Entourage II

Tom Brady can relate to Vincent Chase. Sure, he lives a life worthy of an HBO series, but he knows what it's like to be surrounded by the likes of Turtle and Drama, although he would rather be in their shoes just one time. "I always say if I ever come back in another life I want to come back as one of my friends. They don't pay for [expletive]. Dinners. Trips. You name it," Brady tells the Boston Globe. "I watch Entourage and, like that show, I got a name for all these guys."

Quite An Impression

Novak Djokovic distinguished himself with fine play during his run to the U.S. Open finals. But he's just as likely to be remembered for his uncanny impersonations of fellow players.

In case you missed it while watching Sunday Night Football, Britney Spears didn't exactly revive her career with her performance at the MTV Video Music Awards.
