What was your welcome-to-the-NFL moment?

My first game [in 1999] I was playing guard, and I had to block [the Jets'] Bryan Cox. We hit, and I remember thinking to myself what a great player he was. I was thinking, How awesome is this? You get to hit a guy that you've watched for so long.

One thing about playing in the NFL that people don't think about?

How much film we have to watch for each game. Starting on Monday all the way up to Sunday.

If I weren't playing in the NFL, I'd be ...

I have no idea.

If I were NFL commissioner for a day, I'd ...

make offensive linemen the highest-paid players on their teams. Also, for a day I'd make all the skill players play offensive and defensive line. And all the linemen get to play receiver, quarterback, running back.


The 6'2", 295-pound Saturday helped the Colts (12-4) gain 117 rushing yards and hold the Dolphins without a sack in a 27-22 win.


A Pro Bowl selection, Saturday, 31, and the Colts host Kansas City on Saturday in the first NFL playoff game.
