No. 4 Juco prospect picks Alabama

Michael Ricks, a four-star safety out of Booneville (Miss.) Northeast Community College, will play at Alabama, choosing the Tide over offers from Memphis and Mississippi State. Ricks, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound prospect, is ranked as the No. 4 junior college prospect in the nation by Rivals.com. For more Alabama Crimson Tide recruiting news, check out BamaOnLine.com.

Jackson picks Florida State

Florida State may have lost out on Deonte Thompson, but the Seminoles will gain a signature from his teammate, three-star offensive tackle Jatavious Jackson. Jackson announced he will sign at FSU over Clemson and West Virginia. Read more about Florida State's signing class at Warchant.com.

Thompson makes decision for Florida

Florida put the finishing touches on its recruiting class by adding Rivals100 wide receiver Deonte Thompson on Wednesday afternoon. The four-star signed with the Gators over Florida State during a ceremony at his high school. For more news on Florida's signing class, visit GatorBait.net.

Maze jumps on late Alabama offer

Three-star athlete Marquis Maze announced he will sign with Alabama over Tennessee today. He had early offers from the Volunteers, Michigan and Miami before picking up an offer in January from the Crimson Tide. For more Alabama Signing Day news, visit Bamaonline.com.

Five-star ATH Jones picks LSU

LSU missed out on Joe McKnight, but landed another Rivals100 during the afternoon on Signing Day. Five-star athlete Chad Jones out of Baton Rouge, La., signed with LSU today over offers from Florida and Florida State. He is the second five-star to join the class. DE Alexander heads to Oklahoma

Rivals250 defensive end Frank Alexander signed with Oklahoma today despite a late push from Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville. Three-star teammates pick Syracuse

Syracuse landed a pair of three-star teammates on Signing Day with signatures from quarterback Cody Catalina and safety Max Suter out of Greensburg (Pa.) Central Catholic. Jones, Sykes join Tennessee's class

Tennessee hung onto Rivals100 athlete Gerald Jones after he took a close look at Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Tennessee. Jones signed the the Volunteers today. He had letters from all four schools in hand during the day. Four-star defensive end Rae Sykes also made a late decision for Tennessee with a commitment to the Vols today over an offer from Florida State. USC adds another top running back

Four-star Little Rock (Ark.) running back Broderick Green added to USC's impressive stable of running backs by signing to play with the Trojans.

Green chose USC over Penn State and Ohio State and joins five-star running back commitments Joe McKnight and Marc Tyler.
