David Koci was called up from Norfolk, and the Blackhawks aren't promoting him because he can score goals. Koci, a 6-6, 238-pounder, has only three goals in 194 games over four seasons in the AHL. Instead, the Hawks like his penalty minutes -- 770 over that same span, with an AHL-high 212 this season in only 39 games.
