A source said the Dolphins have interest in David Carr, who was released Friday by Houston. Should Trent Green or Carr be added, the Dolphins could part ways with quarterback Daunte Culpepper. The agent for Trent Green said Friday that the quarterback wants to play for the Dolphins in 2007 and the only roadblock is an impasse in trade talks with the Chiefs. President Matt Millen had little reaction to speculation the Lions have shown interest in acquiring Trent Green. Dolphins kicker Olindo Mare is publicly handling life in NFL limbo in stride. Although his departure from the franchise is inevitable, Mare just completed his first week of participation in the Dolphins' offseason workout program. There's still a chance the Vikings could draft Notre Dame's Brady Quinn if he's available with the seventh overall selection. A long period of silence from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department pertaining to a triple shooting at the Minxx Gentleman's Club is likely to end early next week.
