We're not sure if BC quarterback Matt Ryan helped or hurt his chances of winning the Heisman after last Thursday's last-second victory over Virginia Tech. But he's got one fan in his corner -- Tim Russert. Although, as Sports Crack points out, there are 53 NCAA starting quarterbacks who have a better QB rating than Ryan.
Martellus is the Man
We don't know Texas A&M tight end Martellus Bennett, but he is quickly becoming an SIOC fave. First, he is forced to miss a game due to injury, but instead of watching from the sideline, he decided to go shopping. Then, his brother, Michael, trashes Kansas (who had just beaten the Aggies) and when asked for clarification on his brother's comments, Martellus calls Michael "borderline retarded."
