Welcome to Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz., where the only thing hotter than the weather is the women. Don't believe us? Ask Playboy, which named ASU the school with the hottest female student body. Or Girls Gone Wild, which made a stop at ASU in the spring of 2006. But our ladies do more than just strut their stuff -- they also work. Last year, the Sun Devils women's basketball team advanced farther than any ASU basketball team -- men's or women's -- in 32 years when it made the Elite Eight. That was sandwiched between indoor and outdoor women's track championships.

At its core, ASU's main campus is one of the largest in the nation, and a trip here is something you, depending on your alcohol consumption, may or may not forget.

Best place to take in the local scenery

Memorial Union Patio. Sitting outside of the MU, which is right in the middle of campus, during the day will only confirm what Playboy and GGW have already asserted: The women are gorgeous. It's ridiculous; you can fall in love every minute. Strategically, the best time to sit there is the beginning of the school year. Most of the girls are rushing sororities, which just happen to hang out on the MU patio. But a word to the wise: Wear sunglasses, because nobody wants to get caught ogling.

Best place to meet Sun Devils

Tailgating. Yep, it's a party school and we like to drink probably more than we like football. So on game day, head to Lot 59 North (just north of Sun Devil Stadium) and just find someone with a keg, throw in five bucks and drink some beer. Everyone's friendly while tailgating, even the alumni. A lot of times they'll even offer you a beer when you walk by. And don't worry if you don't have tickets for the game. If you stay in the parking lot for keg stands and beer bongs the whole time, no one will blame you. Not even football coach Dennis Erickson, who empathized with students earlier this season when he said of the fan support: "A lot of them left in the fourth quarter. I don't know where they went, but I have a pretty good idea."

To avoid looking like an outsider, learn the ...

Pitchfork. Sparky carries a real pitchfork with him wherever he goes, but it wouldn't be practical, or safe, if the students did the same. So we make our pitchfork with our hands. Use your thumb to hold back the ring finger, stick the other three fingers straight up, spread them out and give 'em hell.

Best place to take to nap

Hayden Library. Any library is undeniably a prime location for catching some sleep, but ASU's library is unlike any other. The entrance, located underground, is only accessible by walking down a couple flights of stairs. Once inside, it's dark, quiet and perfectly cool. Swing a right toward the elevator and ride it up to a floor of your choice. (Yes that's right, the entrance is underground, but a part of the building rises above ground. It doesn't make much sense, but who has time to think about that when Tempe 12 girls are dancing in your head?) Head to one of the empty corners or desks and set up shop. Chances are you could sleep in here for a week and no one would notice.

Best student section

Herbivores. The Herbivores (a.k.a. the Herb Garden) are the basketball fans who coined their name after men's coach Herb Sendek. While the student section is miniscule compared to an ACC school's or even most other Pac-10 schools, it's a blast to sit with these guys. First of all, if you get to the game about 30 minutes early, you'll probably be in the first 10 rows, which is a perfect location for whispering sweet nothings into Arizona coach Lute Olson's ears.
