1. Tadd Fujikawa
Wasn't it refreshing to see a teenage golf prodigy actually having fun?

2. Paul Goydos
There's so much drama in the L-B-C ... Long Beach's O.G. (original golfa) stole the Sony by birdieing three of the final four holes for his first W since '96.

3. Paul McGinley
The stubby Irishman has a knack for being in the right place at the right time. Three years after sinking the clinching putt at the Ryder Cup, P-Mac was the hero again as he wrapped up the Royal Cup for Europe versus an outmanned Asian squad.

4. Teddy Forstmann
The IMG chairman and Friend of Vijay admitted to The New York Times that he had a fling with Princess Di, further burnishing his rep as a solid-gold international playboy. There was also some stuff in the story about how he's turned around IMG's finances, but I wasn't so interested in that.

5. George Lopez
In the spirit of Bing Crosby, Sammy Davis Jr. and Bob Hope, the comedian will host this week's Tour stop in the desert. I can't wait for his monologue on that zany FedExCup.

Not

1. Charles Howell III
In the grand scheme of things he's making progress, which is nice, but two up on the back nine at the Sony, he's simply gotta find a way to win. You have to wonder how this latest disaster will scar his psyche.

2. Michelle Wie
Honestly, this is getting painful to watch.

3. Luke Donald
He's already proven he's a top-10 machine, but to take the next step to becoming an elite player, the young Englishman needs more wins -- and he let a golden opportunity get away at the Sony. Nice effort on 18, though.

4. Tiger 'n Phil
Their belated return to action will dominate the headlines in the coming two weeks, but the Hawaiian swing was proof that the Tour can still provide entertaining events and engaging storylines without the its two biggest superstars.

5. Practice
Colin Montgomerie, 43, recently claimed that he has 10 good years left because his noted aversion to hitting balls has preserved his body. The skeptic might add: Just think how good the last 10 years might have been for Monty had he spent a little more time working on his game.
