Roswell (Ga.), Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.) enter top 10

With Poly (Long Beach, Calif.) and Jenks (Okla.) falling last week, two spots opened in this week's top 10.

Claiming those positions are Roswell (Ga.), which improved to 2-0 after handling Lassiter, and Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.), which has shown an explosive offense.

On Saturday in Dallas, it's the game of the year as No. 2 Northwestern faces No. 1 Carroll (Southlake, Texas) at SMU.

6	6	Northside (Warner Robins, Ga.) (2-0) North Clayton's stingy defense will challenge the Eagles' air attack. QB Marques Ivory threw for 265 yards in last week's 34-7 win over Warner Robins (Ga.).
7	9	Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, Calif.) (1-0) An opening 17-7 win over Canyon (Anaheim, Calif.) last week showed the Knights' toughness. Host Lynwood (Calif.) should present less of a challenge on Friday.
8	10	St. Rita (Chicago) (3-0) The Mustangs, who boast Notre Dame recruit and weak-side defensive end Darius Fleming, renew a Catholic league rivalry with powerful Mt. Carmel on Friday.
9	11	Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.) (3-0) The Huskies fell behind 18-0 before scoring 35 unanswered points to beat feisty Centennial last week. Dobson (Mesa, Ariz.) is up next.
10	12	Roswell (Ga.) (2-0) Linebacker Ebele Okapu (12 tackles) leads forceful defense against winless Kell after dominating Lassiter (Ga.) 38-7 last week.
11	14	Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) (1-0) Last week's 58-6 rout of West Covina (Calif.) showcased quarterback Matt Barkley's explosiveness (309 passing yards). The Monarchs host American Fork (Utah) on Friday.
12	13	DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) (1-1) A week after losing to St. X on the national stage, the Stags regrouped for a win over Blatimore's Gilman. Next up is Friendship Collegiate (Washington, D.C.).
