South Florida's city of champions; North Shore debuts

Though based in the same city, the Northwestern (Miami) Bulls will not face the Booker T. Washington (Miami) Tornadoes for the Sunshine state title this weekend. Each will contend for its respective title, with Northwestern battling Boone (Orlando) in the Class 6A championship and the Washington taking on St. Augustine (Nease) for the 4A crown.
