Duke is keeping things simple in the Power Rankings. The Blue Devils just keep on winning. That's because seniors Alison Bales and Lindsey Harding keep playing so well. They combined for 31 points on Sunday as Duke knocked off rival North Carolina for the second time this season. The 67-62 win made Duke the first ACC team go undefeated.
And, once again, it makes Duke the first team you see in our rankings.

Duke Blue Devils (29-0)
You just can't argue with unbeaten, or a team ranked second in defense and 10th in offense. The Blue Devils definitely have what it takes to continue their perfect run all the way to a national title, something that's been done just four times.

Tennessee Volunteers (27-2)
It might not be Duke perfect, but the Lady Vols swept through the Southeastern Conference without losing. With Candace Parker leading the way, expect to see them do the same all the way to the Final Four.

Connecticut Huskies (26-2)
Doesn't seem like we've heard as much as we usually do about the Huskies, but here they've gone and won yet another Big East title. The last time the Huskies were unbeaten this late in Big East play, they won a national title too.

North Carolina Tar Heels (27-3)
The Tar Heels gave Duke quite a run on its home court, but fell a bit short. Still, North Carolina would give most other team fits. The Tar Heels might have lost to their rival, but they're still national-championship contender. They've got to shoot better than they have in losses, though, especially Ivory Latta.

Stanford Cardinal (25-4)
Another season, another Pac-10 title. And yes, another strong game from freshman Jayne Appel. The rookie has really come through big for the Cardinal in the latter part of the season. Her presence eases the loss of Candice Wiggins, who sat out Sunday's game against USC with a hamstring injury. Appel led the Cardinal with 14 points and nine rebounds.
