The Mets submitted a figure of $4.725 million for the 26-year-old lefthander. Perez earned $2.325 in 2007, going 15-10 with a 3.56 ERA. Perez is part of a Mets rotation that includes fellow 15-game winner John Maine, Pedro Martinez and new ace Johan Santana, who was acquired from the Twins earlier this month. | |||
