Seven fined for Game 3 incident; Kuroda receives highest fine

Seven players were fined by Major League Baseball for their roles in a bench-clearing incident during Game 3 of the National League Championship Series, with Dodgers pitcher Hiroki Kuroda receiving the largest fine, SI.com has learned. There were no suspensions.

Kuroda was viewed by MLB as the instigator for the bench-clearing incident when he threw a pitch over the head of Phillies outfielder Shane Victorino.

The other six people fined wered Dodgers outfielder Manny Ramirez, Victorino and pitcher J.C. Romero of the Phillies, Dodgers coaches Larry Bowa and Mariano Duncan and Phillies coach Davey Lopes
