VILLANOVA, Pa. (AP) -- Villanova center Casiem Drummond told the coaching staff on Monday that he will leave the Big East school and transfer. The 6-foot-10 junior played in two games for the No. 17 Wildcats (6-0) and averaged 2.0 points and 2.5 rebounds. He started nine times in 42 career games at Villanova and missed most of last season with ankle injuries. "Casiem is interested in finding a place where he can earn significantly more playing time than he has received here," Villanova coach Jay Wright said. "Our staff is doing all it can to help him locate that opportunity." Copyright 2008 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
