CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) -- Three Southern Utah basketball players have been suspended for one game each for violating team rules.

Coach Roger Reid announced the suspensions in a statement Wednesday, but declined to say what the players did.

Guard Mike Josserand and forward Byron Byrd were suspended for Wednesday night's home game against Utah State. Guard Cory Davis will sit out Saturday when the Thunderbirds visit Utah Valley.

On Tuesday, Reid threw guard Eules Thompson off the team for undisclosed rules violations.
