SYACUSE, N.Y. (AP) -- Syracuse point guard Jonny Flynn did not practice with the No. 11 Orange on Friday and was listed as a game-time decision for Saturday night's game at No. 23 Memphis. Flynn received treatment for a hip injury suffered in the Orange's 82-60 win over Canisius on Wednesday night. Flynn went down in a violent heap after driving the lane early in the second half against the Golden Griffins, asked to be taken out about three minutes later, and never returned. In his remarks after the game, coach Jim Boeheim said he didn't put Flynn back in the game because he didn't want to take any chances. Flynn leads the Orange in scoring at 17.5 points per game. If Flynn doesn't play, that means Boeheim will face the Tigers without his starting backcourt. Guard Eric Devendorf was suspended from school on Friday by the University Appeals Board for hitting a female student in an off-campus altercation on Nov. 1. Devendorf has to perform 40 hours of community service and then apply to be readmitted to the university. That means he will miss at least two games before he can rejoin the team.
