S. Carolina guard Conrad out indefinitely |
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina coach Darrin Horn says guard Branden Conrad will be out indefinitely after fracturing his right foot. Conrad, a senior, has started seven of eight games this season. He entered the lineup when guard Brandis Raley-Ross went down with an injury in South Carolina's opening game last month. Conrad hurt his foot at practice Thursday. He has averaged 5 points and 3.4 assists per game this season. The Gamecocks take on The Citadel on Saturday. Copyright 2008 Associated Press.
