JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -- Mississippi point guard Chris Warren is undergoing tests on his injured left knee after apparently tearing a ligament in the last minute of the 77-68 loss to No. 9 Louisville on Thursday. Warren appeared to step awkwardly as he drove to the basket and fell to the floor in the game played in Cincinnati. He was having an MRI Friday and results were expected later in the day. The sophomore from Orlando, Fla., is expected to miss at least some time with the injury. The Rebels have already lost starter Eniel Polynice and reserve Trevor Gaskins to knee injuries. Warren is the SEC's third-leading scorer, averaging 19.8 points per game coming into the week. He scored 18 against Louisville before sitting out the final seconds. Copyright 2008 Associated Press.
