Terry Bradshaw says he'll retire when his contract for Fox's pregame show expires in 2011. Some of you are probably happy about that, but we've always liked Bradshaw, so we're kinda bummed. We just hope Jillian Barberie stays around or we'll have no reason to watch Fox's pregame show anymore.

Bowl Pool Update

We're finally done calculating the results of the "First Ever Hot Clicks College Football Bowl Pool." And the winner is ... drum roll please ... Anthony Tarabocchia, who named his team "Toolbags," although they proved to be anything but. Anthony totaled 305 points out of a possible 351. He hit his 26 (LSU), 25 (Kansas), 24 (USC), 23 (Penn State) and 22 (Kentucky), giving him a narrow win over Tommy Johnson and "Lou Holtz Pep Talks." Tommy was the only other participant (out of 328 total entrants) to top 300 points, coming in at 301. As for the most creative team name, it was almost impossible to pick a winner. We were partial to "I Saw Erin Andrews Naked" (Derek Bixby), "I Heart Erin Andrews" (Nick Malone) and "Erin Andrews-Traina" (Tim Aisenbrey). And of course we loved the names that were gambling references, such as "Donaghy's Diabolical Debtors" (T.J. Stevens), "Donaghy's Bookie" (John C. Orlando), "Jimmy The Greek and Frank Caliendo's Offspring" (Clinton Koppe) and "Neuheisels' Anonymous" (Scott McLeod). But we narrowed our favorite team names down to three. In no particular order, they are: "Because My Online Account Is At $0" (Scott Basler), "Stop the bus and let my friend Jack off" (Ryan Caruthers) and "I wish I was in that 'First Ever Hot Clicks College Football Bowl' USC fan picture" (Paul Bossart). Congratulations to the winners and many thanks to all who participated.
