NEW Leryn Franco Pics
Just when we thought we wouldn't be able to come up with any more excuses to mention Hot Clicks' favorite Leryn Franco, we go and discover a bunch of brand spankin' new photos. Enjoy.
We mentioned last week that Franco was reportedly dating Novak Djokovic. However, the No. 3-ranked tennis player in the world has denied those rumors. One couple that's not based on rumor, however, is Mardy Fish and Stacey Gardner, who are engaged. For those of you unfamiliar with Gardner, reader Albert Del Tufo, of Vero Beach, Fla., sends this along.
Week 1 Preview
NFHell.com breaks down each of this week's games -- by comparing them to summer movies.
The Doctor Is In
When Chris Fowler told us last Thursday before the NC State-South Carolina game that Lou Holtz's weekly pep talks were done, we were not happy. Those things quickly became one of the highlights of our football week. Fowler went on to tell us that Holtz would preside over a new segment in which he plays a doctor. It isn't half as entertaining as the pep talk, but you can't really take your eyes off this gimmick either.
Laughter Amid The Tears
There's not much to this next item, except for the fact that we couldn't stop laughing after seeing the headline and then the photo underneath.
Ell Of A Tribute
The Yankees are about to miss the playoffs for the first time since 1993 and the season has been a complete embarrassment. But at least we can say this tribute isn't for one of our players. On a side note, this e-mail from Sweaty Teddy of Bristol, Conn., landed in our inbox last night: "Has anyone noticed that Red Sox outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury looks an awful lot like former E.R. actress and Ghost Ship star Julianna Margulies? It's weird?" However, BostonScore.com hasn't gone with Margulies in this amusing post that casts a reenactment of the 2008 Red Sox. (Thanks to Adam Hart, of Rehoboth, Mass., for sending us the link.)

Sports Video Of The Day
An ode to the Artist Formerly Known as Chad Johnson. (And as the Angry T tells us, Johnson is hardly the first athlete to change his name.)
Mascot Video Of The Day
Dylan, of Cincinnati, writes, "Thursday night at the E. Kentucky-Cincinnati football game, it was Armed Forces Night at Nippert Stadium. Two Army soldiers parachuted into the stadium and they were followed up by the Bearcat mascot. The Bearcat had a little malfunction when he bounced off the wiring behind the field goal post twice and fell about 40 feet (or so) to the ground. Luckily, someone was taping it..."

We had no idea Randy Savage had his own video. (Thanks to Sven, of Atlanta, for sending us the link.)
