In front of television cameras from all over the country, Jones announced he was going to sign with Alabama. Jones announced his commitment at Foley (Ala.) High, choosing the home state Crimson Tide and likely solidifying Alabama's recruiting class as the nation's best. Jones is the fourth-ranked player in the country according to Rivals.com and the top-ranked receiver overall. He picked the Tide over finalists Oklahoma, Florida State, Texas Tech and Florida. Pryor said at a press conference at Jeannette (Pa.) High School that Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State and Oregon are still in the running for his services. Pryor said he needs more time to make his decision after going straight from a state championship football season into basketball season. 11:11 a.m.Five-star prep school RB signs with Ole Miss Five-star running back Enrique Davis from Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., has signed a Letter of Intent to play football at Ole Miss next season. Davis made his announcement and signed his letter of intent at a ceremony late Wednesday morning for several Hargrave prospects who were signing Division I scholarships. 11:10 a.m.Notre Dame makes late push at No. 1 Notre Dame has received letters of intent from 23 recruits so far today. The Irish were at 22 commitments Tuesday, but they were able to add Rivals250 defensive lineman Kapron Lewis-Moore, who had originally committed to Texas A&M. The Irish await word from four-star running back Milton Knox from California. Knox had been committed to UCLA for several months, but took an official visit to Notre Dame last weekend. The Irish are ranked No. 1 in the Rivals.com national team rankings updated as of noon Eastern. 10:57 a.m.McGuffie putting off decision Cypress (Texas) Cy Fair running back Sam McGuffie was scheduled to sign his letter of intent with Michigan this morning, but he is reportedly having second thoughts. After a visit to California this past weekend, McGuffie is considering the Golden Bears. As of noon Eastern, McGuffie is considering not signing today. 10:51 a.m.McClain to Clemson Anniston (Ala.) OT Antoine McClain announced for Clemson moments ago at a news conference. The 6-foot-6, 317-pounder becomes the third four-star offensive front man to pledge with the Tigers, and fourth overall. 10:45 a.m.Buckeyes land Florida athlete Gulfport (Fla.) Boca Ciega athlete Orhian Johnson has signed with Ohio State. The three-star athlete picked the Buckeyes on Signing Day over South Florida and Indiana. 10:45 a.m.Zook pulls another from Florida Ron Zook continues to exploit his former home state of Florida. Zook added four-star defensive lineman Corey Liuget of Hialeah, Fla., moments ago. Liguet chose Illinois over national champion LSU among others. 10:37 a.m.Rivals100 DE Perry picks USC USC will receive a letter of intent today from Detroit King four-star defensive end Nick Perry.
