On Sunday Greg Schiano offered his assessment of his team's struggles, saying, "Probably, maybe I overestimated a little bit." On Monday, he picked out the positives from his team's latest loss to West Virginia, saying, "If you would have told me before the game you'd hold (Noel) Devine under 60 (yards rushing), no turnovers, you go on the road to West Virginia, I'd say, 'Where do I sign?'" Now 10-10 since his program's '06 win over No. 3 Louisville, Schiano may be re-thinking his decision not to sign with Miami or Michigan, two programs where the talent is consistently richer.

After allowing 83 points in their first two games, the Tigers have bounced back to win three of their last four games while surrendering just over 17 points per game. The road to redemption continues Saturday when they welcome Louisville to town. Though Rick Pitino and John Calipari will not be manning the sidelines, Memphis's defensive stance should be a recurring theme throughout the game.

After entering this season with the momentum of last year's bowl appearance -- the first in program history -- the Owls have flown south in the first five games. Junior Rusty Smith, who threw for 3,688 yards and 32 touchdowns last fall, has been thrown for a loss as the offense has managed just 15 points per game. Not to mention the defense ranks 90th or worse in pretty much every category. Can the Owls get things back on track Tuesday night against Troy?

97 Wyoming
Wyoming (2-4)
Last Week: 95

98 Washington St. Last Week: 96

99 Washington Last Week: 97
Granted, the Huskies were robbed by a ref in the loss to BYU, but Tyrone Willingham's squad is now winless through the first week of October and things do not appear to be getting better. In the three games since BYU, they have been outscored 138-56. Washington is staring down a possible 0-8 start with upcoming contests against a battle-tested Oregon State team, 4-1 Notre Dame and USC.
