NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- No. 4 Oklahoma could be without starting wide receiver Manuel Johnson on Saturday against Kansas State. Sooners coach Bob Stoops said Monday that Johnson dislocated his left elbow against Kansas on Saturday and it's doubtful he'll play this week. Stoops had previously said he expected Johnson to be able to play against the Wildcats, but now it appears he's more likely to return the following week against Nebraska. "There's no other issues around it. There's a chance here by the end of the week that he'll be comfortable enough to play, but we're questionable this week, likely after that," Stoops said on the Big 12 coaches teleconference. Johnson led Oklahoma in receiving before he was knocked out of Saturday's game in the first quarter. He has 33 catches for 574 yards and eight touchdowns. He had seven touchdowns in a three-game span before he was hurt. ![]() | ![]()
