ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- The family of a Central Florida football player who collapsed during training says he's "fully recovered." Brandon Davis' family released a statement Wednesday through Florida Hospital East, where the freshman remains hospitalized. Davis became dehydrated during a weightlifting session and was hospitalized with kidney failure. His family says he's "fully recovered" without any permanent damage. They say doctors gave him "a clean bill of health." University administrators are questioning Davis' teammates about the workout that the athletic department described as "rigorous" but "not atypical" for a college football conditioning session. The school's training methods have been scrutinized since a wide receiver died during a conditioning workout last spring. Copyright 2008 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
